Chunky ATC's are all "the rage" right now so Lori has put together one Wendy Vecchi style, using mostly her STAMPS with NUMBERS. Lots of flowers made from grungepaper, she also used distress inks, Archival inks in Black and Coffee, Maya Road trinket pins , and Maya Road Foundation chipboard to help finish it off!
This week I have been playing with The Wendy Vecchi's new Art Parts ... All the stamps are from The Wendy Vecchi ... I have coloured the circle frame with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink ... I added lots of Grungepaper and finished off embellishing with some of Tim's new Idea-ology accoutrements.
Linda created her tag on a base of patchwork embossed numbers. She embossed card stock with several Tim Holtz Texture Fades and cut out the numbers, then patchworked and stitched them together. After being ink distressed with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo, it served as the base of her tag. The handmade flowers and shabby seam binding were dyed with Tim Holtz distress inks. The flourish was covered with Ranger Gold Liquid Pearls.
I Love the way Dan interprets these themes and this week's project is no exception. Dan has created this wonderful gift box using ... wait for it ... Ten Seconds Studio metal and one of their moulds. He has embellished the box with a square of patterned paper placed in a silver Ranger Memory Frame, which has been rubbed with copper wax.
Nancy used Cosmo Cricket's Garden Variety papers. The numbers are Grungeboard covered with vintage paper, then inked with Peeled Paint, Tumbled Glass, Wild Honey, Barn Door & Black Soot. The "bottle" is made from the Texture Fades' packing, stamped with Jet Black StazOn. Let's see ... little details ... lots of *Tim* with the Memo Pins, Locket Keys and Muse Tokens ... and a Maya Road star pin and flower.
Terry has used the wonderful papers from Graphic 45 Le Romantique and Vintage Love for her book. The roses are misted with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist, Old Lace Glitter spray. She has also used a Martha Stewart punch.
Lynne began by misting the front of her box with Broken China and Black Soot Re-inker Mixtures. She then added some fiber paste and misted it again...dusting it with Perfect Pearls. She used the new Tattered Leaves die to accent her flowers which were made using the Tattered Floral dieThe flowers and leaves were coloured with Re-inker Mixtures. For the numbers she created a large 2 out of Plain GrungeBoard, texturized it with Collage Texture Fade. She coloured the Foundations Box Feet with Gold Metallic Alcohol Ink.Crate Paper School Spirit paper with Bo Bunny and Tim Holtz Grungeboard Alpha thrown in for good measure.
7 Gypsies Victoria paper, a Prima floral spray, Hero Arts lace and gems, Distress Inks, Glossy Accents and a Tim Holtz stamp to complete her design.
Wendy's Vecchi Stamps include numbers... like her Dimensional Rose art which is the background under the leaves. Nature's art sentiment says the number one which has been stamped onto a ticket which also has numbers! Even the wonderful butterfly from Botanical art has numbers in its pattern. To include even more numbers she covered grungepaper with Tim Holtz tissue tape and stamped flowers from live and make art in coffee archival before cutting and inking with distress ink. Finishing off with a bingo game piece.
