How does anyone even choose a Favourite Tim Stamp.......Lynne was not really sure!! She created this tag around the stamps on the Floral Tattoo stamp set. She used Bundled Sage and Pumice Stone Distress Inks. To add a bit of shimmer, she dusted the inked edges of the tag with Perfect Pearl ~ Perfect Pearls. And would you believe it......she used the AMAZING Tattered Floral Die to create her flower along with Multi Medium to stiffen the fabric.
Nancy loves all of Tim's stamps but her *go to* stamp is one of Tim's scroll stamps. Background stamps are so versatile and Nancy makes use of one on this cone decorated for a mini-wreath. The scroll stamp and mini BELIEVE word are stamped with Distress Embossing Ink and embossed with Ranger's embossing powder.
Lori had a difficult time choosing one stamp as well, so she chose her favourites, the Harlequin Background, the Fabulous Flourish, and the Artful Flight set. Combining these with paper from the Vintage Shabby paper stack, she turned a dollar store canvas frame into vintage art!
I know exactly which one my favourite Tim stamp is ... or so I thought ... then I realised I have rather a lot I class as favourites! The favourite I settled on is the man with the umbrella from the Creative Muse set ... and the Live the Life you've Imagined Text comes quite high in my Top 10. To set him off I created a card using the beautiful Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante papers with some Ideaology Sprocket Gears and some Rock Candy Distress Stickles.
Linda has always loved Tim's bird and branch stamp. She used it on this tag along with other stamps from the Urban Grunge set and lots of other wonderful Lord Tim embellishments. The tag was sponged with three colors of Tim Holtz distress inks, then a journaling ticket, tissue tape, ruler ribbon, a type charm, a muse token and a hinge clip were added.
Well, Kim found choosing just one Tim Holtz stamp was a tad too tricky too, but finds that she really loves using fabulous flourish and has demonstrated using it in different ways. Simply stamping on the 7 gypsies patterned papers and also making a little heart embellishment with some UTEE melted in her melting pot and enhanced with some black paint dabber. Of course the flowers are Tim's Alterations die Tattered florals adorned with adhesive pearls and the bookplate is cut from chip board and pop can metal. Dan's favourite Tim Holtz stamp is undoubtedly the David head. As some of the recurring themes in Dan's recent work are notions of disguise and role-playing, he saw this as the ideal opportunity to play around with Michelangelo's classic figure! Products used include Tim's David stamp, Lost and Found stack and a Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad.
Nancy couldn’t chose a single favourite Tim stamp either, but this tag includes one of her absolute favourite word stamps – it works perfectly with the tag's theme of having one’s palm read, don’t you think? (See the background words created with Tim’s Ransom Alphabet Mask?) Everything’s coloured with Distress Inks, primarily Wild Honey – it’s such a versatile colour!
Terry decided to make a Tag with her favourite "A dream is a wish your heart makes". On the tag itself she used the Tim Holtz Components collection. The wonderful flowers are from the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die. Everything has been worked on with Distress inks especially Dusty Concord, Forest Moss and Vintage Photo.
